"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will explain the featured Grandmaster equipment sets for the "Blood and Wine" DLC and the possibility of developing "The Witcher 4" soon.
CD Projekt RED announced that many in-game features for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's" final DLC expansion, "Blood and Wine" along with a teaser trailer featuring the large and beautiful region of Touissant. One of these features is the Grandmaster equipment sets which gamers can equip Geralt with a powerful class of armor and weapons.
Community Manager Marcin Momot stated that gamers are able to create Grandmaster equipment following the release of "Blood and Wine" DLC in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", with the exception of the Viper school. The Grandmaster sets can also be tied into interesting quest and storylines within "Blood and Wine" giving players an chance to see more of Touissant, WCCFTech reported.
Sadly, "Blood and Wine" DLC will not feature Manticore monster in Touissant, but Momot tweeted that there will be other new "cool" foes that gamers will face in the expansion. Three monsters were already mentioned within "Blood and Wine" such as The Scolopendromorphs, Bruxas and Stringas.
The expansion will also feature both new and returning characters such as Yennefer, Triss Merigold, Ann Henriatta, Fringello Vigo, Dandelion, Regis and Vilgefortz.
In other news, its seems that CD Projet RED teased the possibility of developing "The Witcher 4" soon as game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz told Eurogamer that they hope they could make more titles for "The Witcher" game series in the future, and will probably do that after they finished developing, promoting and releasing their upcoming title "Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projeckt RED confirmed that "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will not have more DLC expansion, thus making "Blood and Wine" the last content in the series. "Cyberpunk 2077" will likely launch sometimes between 2017-2021.
It is previously rumored that the outcome of "Blood and Wine" DLC may present another storyline for "The Witcher" game series which will likely set up the fourth game. CD Projekt RED head Michał Kiciński stated that they will continue the game series, but with a different perspective and explained that it is too soon to talk about a "Witcher 4" at the moment, but the brand itself will not be forgotten due to the impressive reception "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" received from fans and it will be unfair for them to end it soon. "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will conclude Geralt's journey, but the devlopers might focus on the fourth instalment with a different character.
In addition, CD Projekt RED released a developer diary in making the "Blood and Wine" DLC as it features the creation of Touissant, its factions, culture and dangers that Geralt will encounter within the expansion. "Blood and Wine" is set to launch in "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" in May 31.
