The final DLC expansion for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" dubbed "Blood and Wine" is set to release at the end of this month, bringing one last storyline of the fan-favorite Witcher. There have been reports that the upcoming DLC would be bigger than "Hearts of Stone." Now, specific information concerns the size of "Blood and Wine," which is believed to be 3 to 4 times bigger than the first expansion.

The file size of "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" on PS4 and Xbox One is 10-15GB, which potentially approximately 3-4 times bigger than "Hearts of Stone" that is 3.5GB on PS4, according to Gamespot. While the file size for the PC version of the DLC is unknown, the size is conventionally known to be bigger on PC as compared to other consoles.

Furthermore, latest information indicates that the 10-15GB file size is for the expansion only. There will be a new patch released together with the upcoming DLC. Developers of the game claim that the patch will be smaller than the expansion, although there are no specifics.

Meanwhile, "The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine" is scheduled to happen in a new region called Toussaint that seems to be one of the most visually stunning locations ever in the Witcher Universe. In addition to the new expansion adding 90 new quests, rumors have it that the DLC will come with 30 new weapons to be used, new Gwent cards, enemy mutations, and a new map.

The game developer initially indicated that the upcoming DLC has more than 30 hours of content. "Blood and Wine" is slated to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 31. Fans of the game will part away with the DLC for $19.99. All games in the "Witcher" franchise are now being offered at a discount on GOG as can be seen on the official website.
