Emilia Clarke is known for playing Daenerys Targaryen for the HBO hit series "Game of Thrones." Recently, she talked about how she tried to lighten the room when she auditioned for the role.

Recently, Clarke joined the fourth edition of "Variety Studio: Actors on Actors" of Variety. She was asked about a rumor that she did the "Funky Chicken" at her audition for her role in "Game of Thrones."

"It's really true," Clarke replied. She explained that before walking into the audition, she was "jacked up" on a Diet Coke.

The HBO show's co-creator David Benioff joked that she could do a dance. Clarke took him so seriously that she broke out the "Funky Chicken."

When asked when viewers will get to see Khaleesi dance, Clarke said she does not think they are going to see it. She added, "I tried to make her funny, and it doesn't work. Khaleesi isn't funny."

"Variety Studio: Actors on Actors" will air on PBS SoCal in two parts on June 12 and June 19. On the other hand, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 5 titled "The Door" aired on May 22, Sunday.
