WWE Rumors: Bray Wyatt to be a heel upon his return from injury

Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan is posing at The New York Stock Exchange Opening Bell in New York City.

Bray Wyatt has been out of action since April 13 due to a right calf injury suffered at a live event in Milan, Italy. The latest rumors suggest that Wyatt is close to returning and he will be a heel character again on television.

The Eater of Worlds was subsequently pulled from the rest of the European tour and the WWE confirmed the injury. He was diagnosed with severely strained right calf and he was ruled out for six to eight weeks.

According to Cageside Seats, Wyatt will be a heel once again when he returns to WWE TV sometime in the next couple weeks. WWE chairman Vince McMahon told members of the media during a conference call on May 10 that some of the injured superstars will be cleared to wrestle very soon.

Seth Rollins already returned at "Extreme Rules" while John Cena will be making his return on the May 30 episode of Monday Night Raw. As for Wyatt, he will be returning with Braun Strowman and Eric Rowan who was taken off television when he was injured.

The Wyatt Family was poised to turn babyfaces before Wyatt got injured. They were scheduled to feud with the League of Nations but the plan was scrapped and the league disbanded.

It all makes sense that the Wyatts will be bad guys again due to the lack of heels on the main roster. The only top heels at the moment are Rollins, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Sheamus, Rusev and Albero Del Rio.

Nonetheless, it will be very interesting to see how the WWE universe reacts on the return of The Wyatt Family. The stable has been booked very poorly in the past several months before the initial babyface tease happened.

According to Forbes, Wyatt is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in August. The feud was teased at the start of the year with The Wyatt Family attacking Lesnar in an episode of Raw and eliminating him from the Royal Rumble.

The Beast has also been out of WWE television since WrestleMania but it is because of the nature of his part-time status as a performer. Lesnar is a special attraction due to his badass character and history of manhandling his opponents.
