Rose Leslie, formerly Ygritte in the "Game of Thrones," revealed that she did not expect boyfriend Kit Harrington will publicly reveal that she knew about Jon Snow's much-awaited resurrection in the series' sixth season. Kit Harrington admitted in an interview during one of Jimmy Kimmel's show episodes that she had told Leslie about the secret despite the producers forbidding him to not tell anyone.
Leslie revealed that Harrington "hung her dry out" when the latter revealed that she had known his character's resurrection all this time. In an interview with Standard, she revealed she felt stupid because she had been keeping the secret for over a year that it already became natural for her to deny the speculation. During the interview the actress said, "I'm such a moron. I had been spewing this lie for over a year ... It just regurgitated out of me to the point where it was almost effortless."
She even added that when she found out Harrington revealed it to the public, it was like he had "hung her out to dry" wherein she said, "I was completely oblivious to the fact that Kit hung me out to dry! It was so funny when I found out. So, yes that was me being unaware and not being able to pick up the ball beforehand," Digital Spy reported. She also added that Harrington should have told her first that he would be admitting it during his interview with Jimmy Kimmel. In the end, the actress took the event positively by saying she did find the admission funny.
It can be recalled that the couple also kept their relationship under the wraps for quite some time before admitting about it this year. Both Leslie and Harrington met in the show and their on screen relationship as Ygritte and Jon grew off-screen by the time Leslie's character got killed on the series.
When asked her and Harrington's relationship, Leslie said that she is trying to keep herself private as she is not really interested into something these days. She also added that although she is well aware of the people's interest in their relationship because of the current hype the show has been creating, but says she does not blend herself to it.
