According to latest reports, Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Tab S2 and Galaxy S5 are at present getting their Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates.

Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on T-Mobile and AT&T have yet to get the Android Marshmallow update. The Samsung Galaxy S5 owners on AT&T have also not received the new update.

Reports suggest that the mobile carrier Verizon is in the process of updating the operating system on Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Tab S2 and the Galaxy S5.

Recently, the mobile carrier Verizon declared the rollout of software version MMB29M.G900VVRU2DPD1 to the Samsung Galaxy S5. The software version brings the newest Android Marshmallow operating system together with Android for Work, Ultra High Quality Audio, App icon update and Wi-Fi Calling to the S5.

Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also receiving the new Marshmallow update. The update bumps the software version to MMB29M.N910VVRU2CPD1.

According to reports, the mobile carrier T-Mobile has rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S5. However, it seems that there will be a significant wait for the Galaxy Note 4 users on the T-Mobile network.

Reports also indicate that the mobile carrier AT&T has not released an Android M update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is also getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The update brings all the Marshmallow features such as Google Now on Tap, Doze mode for longer battery life and advanced app permissions that gives users more control over their apps.

Meanwhile, OnePlus 2 is now getting the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.

OnePlus has pushed out the OxygenOS 3.0.2 over-the-air firmware update consisting an upgrade to the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. The company has begun releasing the over-the-air update in many regions and the new update is anticipated to reach all the owners in 1-2 days.

The new firmware consists of several new features such as better camera user interface and autofocus optimization, improved fingerprint detection, an improved Doze mode for better battery life and other performance upgrades.

The software update weighs 141MB and the over-the-air has begun rolling out. However, updating will remove a user's saved fingerprints and they have to save them once again.
