Latest leaks regarding the upcoming OnePlus 3 smartphone suggest that its price may start at $369. It is also expected to have 6GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery, 16 MP primary camera, 5.5 inch HD Display, and 128 GB ROM.
OnePlus 3 will be launched on June 14 and it will go on sale just hours after its launch. The smartphone will be released through a virtual reality press conference in six variants.
In addition, OnePlus is also giving away 30,000 free VR headsets for the launch. These headsets will ship to the customers from June 6.
After receiving a superb response for OnePlus 2 the company decided to release the next device in line pretty early. OnePlus 2 came with a beautiful screen and a really low price but it did lack in a few areas.
According to Digital Trends, OnePlus got a lot of criticism for not having the NFC chip and it is now hoped that will be sorted out with OnePlus 3. The company is yet to shed light on this topic. Regarding the camera specs, the device is expected to have a 16MP primary camera and a 8MP rear camera.
As far as the design and specs are concerned OnePlus 3 is expected to sport a similar design as OnePlus 2. Numerous images of the smartphone were leaked on Twitter and they show a raised camera lens section which is situated just below the top centre part of the body.
The leaked images show that the body is all metal with a physical home button situated on the front. This home button appears to be very similar to the finger print sensor, which is found in OnePlus 2. It will come with Android Marshmallow out of the box.
It is also expected that OnePlus 3 will be equipped with an AMOLED screen display exactly line the OnePlus X screen display, along with a 3,000 mAh battery, according to GSM Arena. This battery capacity is a bit less as compared to the one found in OnePlus 2 but this compromise may be done due to the slimmer frame of the upcoming smartphone.
