The South Korean girl group, Girls' Generation aka SNSD, has reunited for a birthday get-together. Despite their respective busy schedule, the eight-member girl group made sure to find time to celebrate both Im Yoona and Sunny's birthday.

Latest reports claimed that the eight k-pop idols meet for an intimate dinner, marking the post-celebration of both Im Yoona and Sunny's birthday, who were born on May 30 and May 15, respectively, Soompi reported. On June 5, Tiffany and Hyoyeon posted a series of sweet, stunning photos from their gathering on their respective Instagram accounts.

Adding on, Girls' Generation singing skills then came out amid the festive celebration. In a video shared by Tiffany, the members are seen singing for the two "May" celebrants before the young ladies blew out their candles on the bright and sweet birthday cake.

With both Im Yoona and Sunny's celebrating their birthdays, it is said that there are only four-member left who have yet to celebrate their respective natal day this year - Seohyun, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Yuri.

Girls' Generation emerged in the entertainment industry in 2007 with the debut of their Korean eponymous album. In 2009, the group catapulted their name to international fame with their record-breaking single, "Gee."

In the past years, each member of the girl group has been busy with their individual activities and solo endeavors. Girls' Generation subgroup, TTS aka TaeTiSeo, is making a noise in the music industry with the released of their three broadened plays - "Twinkle", "Holler" and "Dear Santa." Some of the girls then were occupied with their acting gigs in television dramas, movies, and variety shows.

Hence, some speculated that it does not look like that Girls' Generation will make a comeback in the music spotlight at any point in the near future. The group's last activity was the 2015 concert tour, "Girls' Generation's 4th Tour: Phantasia," which started on Nov. 21, 2015, in Seoul, South Korea and successfully ended on May 8, 2016.

Girls' Generation performed a total of 13-concert in South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and Taiwan. This made Girls' Generation the first K-pop group to headline four concert tours, selling a total of more than 389,000 albums, The Korea Times reported.
