An estimated number of 4,000 Kanye West fans headed outside Manhattan’s Webster Hall after the rapper tweeted about a surprise concert that he will conduct in the area. But said concert was canceled when the fans wreak havoc in the venue with crushed car roofs, littered streets, broken windows and others.

"We're doing PABLO at 2 am in Manhattan. sorting out where now," Virgil Abloh, West's creative director, wrote online on Sunday, CNN reported.

Since the Governors Ball concert was canceled, West planned to perform songs from his "The Life of Pablo" album for the pop up show. But even before a venue was announced, people came swarming around the Webster Hall, which is a large music venue in the East Village.

"There is no late show at Webster Hall tonight. Please get home safely," the concert hall tweeted at 1:45 a.m., hoping to send the crowd home.

But instead the crowd, who were chanting the name of the rapper, was uncontrollable as they crammed the area and are surrounded by the New York police who used dispersal tactics at about 2:30 a.m. to control the crowd. Some left the area but many still remained.

Kim Kardashian West also posted a video of her husband on Snapchat where he is heard saying on the phone, “Call the mayor and shut down the block about four streets and put screens up so they could have a party outside, I heard it was sold out already.”

West also came to Webster Hall with Travis and he stood outside a car's sunroof where he shook hands with fans. But there was no concert because West cannot even get out of his car due to the large number of people around.

Residents around the neighborhood were not happy about the damage left by the crowd like Shirley Green whose Mazda had a cracked windshield. She said that she will held West accountable for the damages of the vehicles. Aside from Green's car, other cars also had broken ceilings as fans went up to get to a higher ground. Garbage including bottles and glass covered the streets, NY Daily News reported.
