Actress Maisie Williams attends the premiere of HBO's 'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 at TCL Chinese Theatre on April 10, 2016 in Hollywood, California.

As seen in the last episode of "Game of Thrones," Arya has been stabbed several times by The Waif who disguised as an old woman. It can be recalled that Jaqen has ordered Waif to kill Arya after the latter failed again in her second mission. There were many speculations that what happened is that Arya is The Waif, and that Arya actually killed herself.

A new synopsis for the upcoming episode, "No One" has already been released, and it mentioned about Arya being given a new test. Although the detail that has been revealed is very much little, a fan theory may suggest what is really happening at the course of Arya's adventures.

Reddit user named catNamedStupidity posed an interesting question that Arya and The Waif may be a single person. She explained that the youngest Stark girl may be experiencing an "associative personality disorder" that makes The Waif a figment of her imagination. This imagination, according to her, is caused by the magic of the House of Black and White, Metro reported.

The report added that according to this Reddit user, Arya is Arya's subconscious who is holding back herself to become a faceless man, and The Waif is her real self who knows exactly what the subconscious Arya thinks and plans to do, the reason why The Waif knows her every move. It can be recalled in the previous scenes that Arya have never defeated The Waif in any of their match.

Other theories have also been suggested from the last episode's point of view. It has been speculated that the Arya viewers saw in episode 7 is actually Jaqen who disguised as Arya to test if The Waif would follow his order of not making Arya suffer too much, Express reported. If the released synopsis suggests that "Arya faces a new test," one of the theories mentioned above may be happening.

These speculations will only be confirmed once viewers are able to see the upcoming episode. "No One" is expected to air at HBO this coming Sunday.
