If Maisie Williams does not want to quit acting, she could easily take up the job of writing headlines that make better sense. The actress recently proved this point.
Recently, Williams hit the headlines for wearing a transparent floor-length white lace dress with short sleeves and layered ruffles at the NSPCC Summer Masquerade Ball in Bath, England. The daring lady also wore a black lace fascinator and while sandals as she flaunted her nicely-done black pedicure and manicure, according to the Daily Mail.
Williams was there at the event for a noble cause. She took a break from her feisty and fierce role to join property expert and television presenter Martin Roberts and "Points West" presenter Imogen Sellers to attend an auction to celebrate 30 years of Childline. The event was held in The Assemble Rooms, Beth's prestigious venue.
Despite the kind of charity work that Williams was there for, a majority of online publications, including the one mentioned above, decided to give a raunchy and sexist headline to the news. However, teenage actor did not step back from modifying the headline on her own.
The "Game of Thrones" actress took to Twitter to cleverly modify the headline "Unveiled: Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams goes braless in sheer lace dress and quirky headpiece at charity masquerade ball," indicating that she literally has no space for sexist headlines to exist in her life, according to USA Today.
Williams, who has been remained particularly active when it comes to the subject of feminism tweeted the alternative version of the headline, appended at the end of the original one. The headline read, "Game of Thrones actor, Maisie Williams, helps raise thousands at a Summer Masquerade Ball for NSPCC."
The headline with a distinctly different angle made everyone's head turn on the wittiness of the actress, who made her debut in the field of action with her role as Arya Stark on the popular HBO television series.
Williams has already maintained a strong foothold in the television industry. She has won quite a few awards for her famous role, including the Portal Award for Best Supporting Actress, the EWwy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama and the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor.
