People who are familiar with the storyline of "Game of Thrones" in the books know that there is one character who has not made an appearance on the show so far - Lady Stoneheart. However, new rumors surrounding the show suggest that the "Game of Thrones" fans might get to see the intriguing character real soon.
In George R.R. Martin's book version of the show, Lady Stoneheart is portrayed as a revengeful zombie Catelyn Stark, who seeks revenge on anyone linked to the Red Wedding or those who were killed her family members. Her appearance on the show has been speculated for years, including rumors that Sansa Stark would take up the role of Lady Stoneheart. However, that never happened.
The most recent rumors suggest that Arya Stark will soon change to Catelyn's face to transform into Lady Stoneheart, who will finally kill the Freys. The Huffington Post has come up with this theory based on some of the recent interviews and clues given by a few popular characters on the show.
In April, Turner and Maisie Williams, who plays the role of Arya, played the game "Two Truths and A Lie" with Yahoo. As the name suggests, each player is supposed to tell two truths and one lie in the game. The publication asked Turner and Williams about what is about to happen in the famous HBO series.
Williams said, "Arya goes to Westeros, back over the sea," "Arya is in the trailer more times than people have realized, because they don't realize it's her" and "Arya doesn't cross any more names off her list." Meanwhile, Turner was quick enough to list three clues to the series -- "Ramsay dies," "Lady Stoneheart returns" and "Arya checks three people off her list."
Since the two sets of statements might seem to conflict, the Huffington Post resorted to another most popular rumor about the show floating the internet, which suggests that Ramsay is probably not dying this season. This means, if the first statement made by Turner is a lie, the other two are true, including the one about the return of Lady Stoneheart.
The other true statement, "Arya checks three people off her list" suggests that Williams' third statement is a lie. The remaining true statement indicates that Arya might embrace a new identity that cannot be recognized as hers.
This has made fans speculate that Arya might be the one to take a revenge on those who did wrong to her family by wearing Lady Stoneheart's face. After all, Arya has some deadly assassin skills that could be used to wipe people off her "kills list," including Walder Frey.
