Fans of the the “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” can witness its campaign demo at the E3 2016 on June 13.

A new video shows "Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harington being wheeled into a cage, which is lined with a number of cameras. The video indicates that the actor might be preparing for a new kind of a mysterious warfare project.

The video was first reported by Mashable. It shows Jon Snow of the "Game of Thrones" -- sans beard - being wheeled into a motion capture rig. While a number of shows use this kind of a set up these days, that one that Harington is shown with looks quite similar to the one in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Similar images surfaced in 2015 as well when ex-NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch was featured with a similar mocap rig on the "ESPN The Magazine" cover story. It was about his role in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."

Lynch's participation and role in the game was limited and it was quite possible for everyone to ignore him in the background if he was not featured in the cover story at all. Now the fans are expecting something similar to happen with Harington as well, although no information about the video has been released yet.

The striking resemblance between the two forms of mocap rigs is hard to deny. This is the primary reason why fans are expecting Harington to appear in the "Call of Duty" game. May be, the resemblance is just a coincidence and the actor is not planning to appear in any of the games at all.

The details about Harington's new mysterious project are expected to be revealed in the coming week, according to Entertainment Weekly. Moreover, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is just days away. May be, the new project details will get revealed soon after that. Activision might be waiting to comment on Harington's project till the game if shown at E3 or the project may be planned to coincide with the event.

Harington has always been under the radar, especially for his role in the "Game of Thrones." His fate on the show was long questioned by everyone until the character finally revived in Season 6. Meanwhile, the actor's IMDb page specifies that he will be starting production on a new title called "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan."

The following video talks about Harington's dramatic new role:
