It was 2 years ago when the fourth installment of the "Transformers" film franchise was released on the big screen, and with the fifth installment already confirmed, recent reports hinted that Bumblebee is getting a makeover in "Transformers: The Last Knight."
According to Screen Rant, the film's director, Michael Bay, posted on his twitter account that the favorite Autobot will be having a new look in "Transformers 5: The Last Knight."
The award winning director did also tagged General Motors in the post, saying that the automotive company has done a good job with the custom-built Chevy Camaro 2016.
However, the report did also note that Bay did not tagged the real account of General Motors, instead, the director tagged the old or inactive account of the said automobile company.
It was also cited that this is not the first time that Bumblebee got a new look. It can be remembered that the yellow robot was first introduced as a Volkswagen then an old Camaro. Given that the autobot will be more futuristic in car mode in Transformers 5: The Last Knight," many fans are speculating that Bumblebee may have some changes as well when he transforms to his original robotic form.
On the other hand, in terms of "Transformers: The Last Knight's" cast, it was revealed that Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel are reprising the roles they played in "Transformers: Age of Extinction." It seems that their co-stars in the last "Transformers" film such as Nicola Peltz, who played the daughter of Wahlberg in the film, and Jack Reynor who played as her love interest, will not be in the upcoming movie, Digital Trends reported.
The same publication also cited that new faces will be included in the fifth chapter of the science-fiction franchise, such as Anthony Hopkins, who was well known for his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in the 1991 film "Silence of the Lamb." Other confirmed new cast members of "Transformers: The Last Knight" are Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael.
In regards to the release date of "Transformers 5: The Last Knight," the movie is scheduled to be released on June 2017.
