He works as a massage therapist and is the Liberal Party candidate for the electorate of Calwell in Victoria, but because of accusations that he is a brothel owner, John Min-Chiang Hsu has dropped out of Australia’s election.

But he stressed that he does not own Paradise Playmates which charges $90 for sex and has a reputation for being the best brothel in Frankton. Hsu was linked to the sex trade enterprise because the brothel was registered to a business at his address, reported Adelaide Now.

“These are false allegations. Completely false. I don’t know why they are being spread by email,” said Hsu who resigned from the party and stepped down as a candidate.

Paradise Playmates is owned by Victoria Angels Brothel & Escort Agency which has the same name and address used by Hsu, according to ASIC documents.

Following his announcement, Hsu removed photos of his campaign on his Facebook page, which he apparently took down also. The party confirmed that Hsu had resigned from the party and discontinued his candidacy. But the Liberal Party, in a statement, said, “Today it has come to the attention of the Liberal Party of Australia (Victorian Division) Mr John Hsu, endorsed candidate for the Federal Division of Calwell, had not fully declared his business interests prior to applying for endorsement as required under the Party’s rules.”

According to party sources, Hsu paid a deposit for the business but has not received any profits from the brothel. His name is listed on the brothel documents since January 2016. The birthday of the brothel owner and the ex-Liberal Party candidate is July 26, 1984.

Hsu also owns three other massage clubs – sometimes suspected as fronts for prostitution. These are the CBD Massage, Five Star Massage and Sabaydee Thai Massage Day Spa, all operated by Beautiful Life Natural Therapies, registered in Hsu’s name, reported The Age.
