Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof says that the $75,000 bill that former NBA star Lamar Odom incurred for four days of stay at the brothel has been fully settled. He previously threatened to file a lawsuit against Lamar's wife, Khloe Kardashian, if the bill is not paid.
At that time, Lamar was still in a coma, and since he remain legally married to Khloe because their divorce was not finalized then, Hof insisted then that she is obliged, as the wife, to pay the bill of Lamar who collapsed at the brothel due to overdose of cocaine and herbal Viagra.
Hof discloses that the problem was not with Khloe, but with American Express which originally canceled the payment and gave him five different reasons. "We went back and forth. Then all of a sudden the money was in our account. It just showed up," he recounts.
New York Daily News also confirms that Ryder Cherry and Monica Monroe, the two sex trade workers whom Lamar spent time with at the brothel, had returned to Love Ranch after Thanksgiving. The two, who became overnight celebrities after they found Lamar unconscious, went into hiding after the incident.
Hof says the two, who joined the full staff meeting and answered all of his questions, had no involvement with the use by Lamar of cocaine while he was a guest of Love Ranch. He explains that the two hid because they were initially scared and confused by the events. "They had a lot of people beating down their doors and had never dealt with anything like that before," Hof adds.
Since their return, the two had booked 20 appointments, while the incident boosted business with people calling to ask if Ryder and Monica are still with the brothel and if they could see the room where Lamar stayed.
Ryder tweeted on Tuesday to Lamar, "monica and I are thinking about you hope you are well!!" according to entertainment websites. However, she later deleted the tweet.
