"The Walking Dead" season 7 is rumored to soon name Steven Yeun's Glenn as the character who was killed off in last season's finale episode.
According to Design N Trend, there are several reasons why viewers can assume that Glenn was the one murdered by the villainous character Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
First, in the comic books, Glenn was the one who also killed off by the same character. Since "The Walking Dead" carefully follows the book, it's highly possible that Glenn's fate has already been sealed even before they reached season 6.
Second, Glenn's fate has always been 50/50 on the show. A few episodes back, there were rumors that he was already killed off after the controversial dumpster scene. However, when the series returned to AMC, viewers were shocked to find out that Glenn was still alive.
Third, executive producer Scott M. Gimple previously said that Negan's victim is a character sequence. He also confirmed that the first few episodes of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will focus mainly on the character's death.
The publication is noting at Glenn is such a huge character which means that his death would be impactful to all of the fans.
Fourth, among all of the characters in the hit AMC TV series, Yeun is the one who hasn't been heard from since the finale episode for season 6.
Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln have already spoken in length about the cliffhanger, as well as their respective character's fates in season 7.
Lastly, Yeun hasn't also been spotted on the set of "The Walking Dead" season 7. Several cast members have already graced the set and have started filming for the upcoming episodes.
In fact, the show's official spoiler site The Spoiling Death fans reported that Michael Cudlitz, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira and several other cast members are or have already completed filming episode 3.
Meanwhile, two other characters haven't been seen on the set and these are Sasha (Sonequa Martin) and Carl (Chandler Riggs). However, it's quite impossible to kill off these two characters because Carl couldn't die and Sasha's storylines are just starting.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 9.
