'Doctor Strange' spoilers: Shuma-Gorath added to the film; Movie director confirms SDCC 2016 appearance, Tom Hiddleston wants Loki to fight the Sorcerer Supreme!

Doctor Strange is an upcoming superhero film produced by Marvel Studios starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton.

The latest details and spoilers for "Doctor Strange" will feature the film's possible main villain, an appearance at SDCC 2016 and Loki to cameo in the movie.

It seems that a new Marvel character will be making its live-action debut in "Doctor Strange" as the official LEGO play set of the film features a huge battle within the Sanctum Sanctorum as Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofar) and Wong (Benedict Wong) trie to stop a squid like monster from escaping the building.

The appearance of a squid monster is speculated to be the live-action appearance of the demonic lord of chaos Shuma-Gorath in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Screenrant reported. Shuma-Gorath is an enemy of Doctor Strange as he once manipulated the Ancient One from letting it escape and entering the world. Shuma-Gorath is popularly featured in Capcom's fighting games such as "Marvel Super Heroes", "Marvel Vs Street Fighter", "Marvel Vs Capcom", "Marvel Vs Capcom 2" and "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3".

In other news, film director Scott Derrickson confirmed an appearance at this year's San Diego Comic Con on July 20-24, as he tweeted a teaser of it and hinting new details for the upcoming Marvel film. Cast members such Cumberbatch and Ejiofar will likely be in attendance for the SDCC 2016 panel at Hall H.

Aside from the new details "Doctor Strange" at SDCC 2016, "Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston teased a scenario involving his character Loki and Doctor Strange in the same room together as he cites his friendship with Cumberbatch, Daily News reported.

It is unknown yet if Hiddleston's remarks on Loki meeting Stepen Strange could indicate a cameo appearance of the God of Mischief in "Doctor Strange". The "Avengers" star is set to return to "Thor: Ragnarok" along wth co-star Chris Hemsworth.

In addition, previous reports hinted that Doctor Strange will the Avengers in their fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin) for the Infinity Stones in "Avengers: Infinity War" as the Eye of Agammotto is rumored the MCU's version of the Time Stone.

Comic book fans will be eager to know more about "Doctor Strange" at SDCC 2016 whether it be a new trailer or additional characters joining the film.

Doctor Strange" is scheduled to release in cinemas on Nov. 4.
