It was announced that "Captain America: Civil War" directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be making changes to the titles of the two-part "Avengers" films, "Avengers: Infinity War" explaining that the title is very misleading and they want to do different story lines for the first part of the movie and the second haft retaining its "Infinity War" title.
However, several rumors are making rounds that a title name for the two-part "Avengers" film has been revealed as part one will be called "Avenger 3", while the second part will likely be "Avengers 4". But, recent reports revealed that Marvel has not retitled "Avengers Infinity War" to "Avengers 3" and it was simply a confusion or just a placeholder for the film, ComicBookMovie reported.
Several fans theorized that part one of "Avengers: Infinity War" should be renamed "Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet" or "Avengers: Infinity Crusade", while part two should remain as ideal "Infinity War".
In other news, film screenwriters Christopher Markus and Steve McFeely revealed more Marvel characters and how will they introduce Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War".
Markus and McFeely told Cinemablend that in order to keep a multi-perspective storytelling, Joe Russo suggested to them they should based it on "Nashville", were in each story will have its on protagonist and will not cutting down in to just 5 or 20 people.
McFeely added that "Captain America" would have featured 15 separate story arcs for each character present in the film. Markus noted that one asset that they have is the fact that they have two films to tell their story and characters that do not necessarily pop out in the first movie can get their big moment in part two.
Several Marvel character are already teased to join the Avengers in "Infinity War" such as Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and the Guardians of the Galaxy", while fans are hoping that the TV series characters will join the fight on the film.
When asked about how will they reveal the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) in "Avengers: Infinity War", Markus and McFeely stated that the script of the movie is "informed guesswork" until all of the phase 3 films have been figured out and they are still figuring out how will Thanos enter the film.
McFeely teased that Thanos' backstory will be explained in the film and will feature a lot of scenes from him in the movie. Both writers felt that planning Thanos' arrival in "Infinity War" was a "challenge" for them to do their work better and hopefully find a solution as to have they will introduce him "Avengers: Infinity War" soon.
