New details and possible spoilers for "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature Loki vs Hulk rematch, new information about the Grandmaster and Adam Warlock and Beta Ray Bill joining the film.
"Crimson Peak" star Tom Hiddleston revealed details about Loki's return and his role in "Thor: Ragnarok" during a panel at the Wizard World event in Philadelphia. When fans asked Hiddleston about what Loki ahs been up to, "Avengers" star stated that he is excited to play Loki againand he will be "trickier" than ever.
Comic book fans and movie goers last saw Loki at the end of "Thor: The Dark World" disguised as his adopted father, Odin Allfather (Anthony Hopkins) after faking his death during his battled with the Dark Elves alongside Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Previous reports revealed that Hiddleston has "retracted" his comments regarding his retirement of the character as he claims he knows how many times he will appear in the Phase 3 movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Hiddleston added that Loki will have another encounter with Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in "Thor: Ragnarok" as Hiddleston stated that the last time these two met, it did go so well with Loki and he will have a cheap of his shoulder when these two clash again, Screen Crush reported.
In other news, "Independence Day: Resugence" star Jeff Goldblum shared more details on his character the Grandmaster in "Thor: Ragnarok as he described him as "a hedonist, a pleasure seeker".
Goldblum added that he will have his own take on The Grandmaster as director Taika Waititi wanted him to improvise and make it his own character.
The Grandmaster will be featured in "Thor: Ragnarok" as a ruler of a gladiator contest pitting fighters from different alien races similar to that of the "Planet Hulk" storyline. Thor will likely be one of the participants as several rumors revealed that the Hulk will be in the arena wearing a one shoulder armor similar to the comics.
Aside from the new details on the Grandmaster, it seems that more cosmic based characters might be appearing in "Thor: Ragnarok" as fans wanted to see characters like Beta Ray Bill, Korg, Champion of the Universe, Balder the Brave and Adam Warlock in the film, ComicBookMovie reported.
Marvel Studios will begin the production and filming for "Thor: Ragnarok" on July 4 and they aim to finish it on late October. Filming will primarily take place at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast in Australia.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 3, 2017.
