The Flash is a CW Network series developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns.

The latest details for "The Flash" season 3 will feature the possible return of Jesse Quick and a new recurring character knows Barry Allen's secret.

A new character will be added to "The Flash" season 3 in recurring role as details of this individual has been revealed online. The character is described as "smart as he is intuitive" and his curiousity will played out to the show. He is also hiding something to the rest of the cast, as well as trying to find out what makes Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) tick, TVLine reported.

This would imply that this character is not easily fooled by anyone or by everyone and would likely dig up some answers to each person's secret. He is also implied to be a slightly older and geekier than Barry and he does not but the latter's nice guy routine as slowly catches up to him and might discover his secret of being a metahuman or to be precise The Flash.

as several DC characters are being hinted such as Edwin Gauss/The Folded Man, Curt Engstrom/The Alchemist and Alexander Petrov/Mister Element. So far, the producers of the show have not yet revealed any further details regarding the character or his connection Barry Allen in season 3.

In other news, it seems that Jesse Chambers Wells will likely be returning to "The Flash" TV series and this time she might be showcasing her powers.

Season 2 cast member Violette Beane stated that she wanted to see her character become Jesse Quick in "The Flash" as she voice out that she wants a suite and run, Bustle reported. Jesse Chambers Wells is the daughter of Earth 2 Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh), who has been kidnapped by the evil speedster Zoom (Teddy Sears and Tony Todd). Wells asked Barry and Team Flash's help to stop Zoom and rescue his daughter, which they did eventually during their visit from Earth 2.

Not long Jesse along with Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) was exposed to the dark matter energy when Team Flash tries to bring Barry's powers and will likely exhibit "Speed Force" powers soon.

Season 3 of "The Flash" will likely feature the "Flashpoint" storyline after Barry traveled back in time to save his mother from being killed by Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), thus altering the time line.

"The Flash" will return for its third season in the fall of 2016 on the CW Network.
