Batman: The Telltale Series

"Batman: The Telltale Series" released its first screenshots of the upcoming narrative and also revealed the voice actors behind the game.

Troy Baker will portray Batman, which is his first time for a non-Lego version of the role, joining Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Meanwhile, Richard McGonagle voices the gangster Carmine Falcone, Travis Willingham portrays Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Erin Yvette gets the role as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel voices Alfred Pennyworth, and Murphy Guyer portrays Lt. Jim Gordon, Polygon reported.

The screenshots that was unveiled along with a news release, says that the "Batman: The Telltale Series" is rendered in a way to look like a living, breathing comic book. The glimpse of the game will be shown at E3 and it will be launched this summer, offering a retail option to gamers which will grant access to all five episodes as it becomes available for download.

The episodic series will be launched digitally on PC/Mac, mobile devices and home consoles. It will also be available on game consoles as a special 'Season Pass Disc' and will be available for purchase in retailers located in North America, Latin America, and Europe later this summer.

Telltale CEO and Co-Founder Kevin Bruner said that they had been working hard for the series to create a new iteration of Batman's story that will allow gamers to play as the billionaire Bruce Wayne and Batman. The game is rich with action, corruption, crime, complex drama and different villains who are lurking around Gotham City.

"The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature 'Telltale' role-playing experience, and we couldn't be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer," Bruner added, according to Telltale Games website.

The Batman series has an engaging and solid storyline about Gotham’s Dark Knight. Fans could expect a fresh interpretation of the story that is set in current times, which means that the story will be different from the comics, film and games of Batman. Since the story is focused on Bruce Wayne and Batman, there will be little sightings about its extended “Bat-family” that includes Robin, Nightwing and others. But Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon will surely be part of the story.

Currently, there is no information on pricing and about the exact availability of the game but it will definitely be released this Summer.
