“American Horror Story” is an American anthology horror television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

While previous reports have suggested that "American Horror Story" (AHS) Season 6 will have a smaller cast than the previous seasons, "AHS" alum Matt Bomer confirmed his appearance in the upcoming installment. However, just like most members of the cast, Bomer did not give any details on the sixth installment.

Bomer had an interview with Magic Radio, confirming that he will be part of Season 6. The actor added that he will not appear in all episodes, but he will play a very significant role on the show.

Bomer said, "I don't know anything about Season 6, electively so. It's coming back, and I know that I will be a part of it at some point, which is great and I'm incredibly excited about, but sort of electively and also non-electively, I don't really know what the concept is."

Bomer is among several other "AHS" actors who have dished on the series and their position for Season 6. This is not the first time for Bomer to feature on "AHS." He previously played Donovan in "AHS: Hotel" and Andy in "AHS: Freak Show."

There is likelihood that filming for "AHS" Season 6 has commenced since star Evan Peters previously told People Magazine that shooting would start on June 7. Peters, who has featured in the show since its inception, informed the publication that he still has not details concerning the theme of the sixth installment. Furthermore, all actors on the series have remained mum, persisting that showrunners are yet to reveal major details.

"AHS: Coven" alum Leslie Jordan also said that he will return to the cast. The actor added that he would start filming for the sixth installment on July 7, but other details concerning Season 6 remain vague.

In an interview with the Washington Blade, Jordan said, "I'm booked all summer, then on July 7, I go back to American Horror Story with Lady Gaga, isn't that fun?"

Jordan added that he turned down taking a role in "AHS: Freak Show" after appearing in "AHS: Coven" as the Council of Witchcraft member Quentin Fleming. The actor opted out of another "American Horror Story" season to concentrate on other projects, something that he now regrets.

"AHS: Freak Show" and "AHS: Hotel" star Finn Wittrock unveiled that the cast for Season 6 would be smaller as compared to other seasons. Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Lady Gaga, Denis O'Hare, and Leslie Jordan are confirmed to be featured in "AHS" Season 6.

Recently, fans were surprised when several social media pages, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, for "AHS" went black. As a result, rumors surfaced that a theme announcement was looming. There is likelihood that the upcoming season will explore the trope of children.
