The much-anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to launch soon with the OLED display.

There are numerous reports that the much-touted touchscreen feature will not make it to the Apple MacBook Pro 2016. However, the device may come with the Touch ID sensor.

Apple is planning to add a nifty little Touch ID to the MacBook Pro 2016 so that users can unlock the device in minimal time, according to Tech Crunch. This Touch ID sensor may also allow users to make payments on the Apple Pay network with ease.

There were numerous references to biometric sensors in the recently released details of macOS Sierra, which strengthen the rumors that the device may come with a Touch ID sensor. The beta version of macOS Sierra talks about the biometric sensors, according to 9to5 Mac.

However, the disappointing news is that macOS Sierra is not going to support touch screens at all. This implies that MacBook Pro 2016 is not releasing with a detachable touchscreen.

Meanwhile, there were references to various LED buttons in macOS Sierra's beta version. There will be power, fast forward, pause, play, rewind and a "Do Not Disturb" buttons.

Apple is planning to do away with the function keys row and in its place there would be an OLED screen. This OLED screen will also feature shortcuts and these shortcuts will also vary depending on the apps and the context.

Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is also going to feature the latest Intel Skylake processors, which will be more power and heat efficient. Apple was waiting for the Intel Skylake processors to release and this is also attributed as one of the reasons why MacBook Pro 2016 release is delayed.

The tech company will make the upcoming laptops a lot thinner and they will also sport USB Type-C ports. Unlike the recently released Apple MacBook 2016, the upcoming laptop will feature the USB Type-C ports on both sides of the device.

The upcoming Apple MacBook Pro 2016 may also feature a keyboard without any physical keys at all. It may come with a customizable keypad, which can be personalized as per the user's needs.
