There are reports that Asus Zenfone 3 will be faster than Samsung Galaxy S7 with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 chip. The processor's speed is 2.3 GHz, which is even more than the processor of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. The upcoming Snapdragon 821 processor has a speed of 2.3 GHz, which is seven percent faster, according to Gizmo China. Earlier, there were rumors that Asus ZenFone 3 will house the super fast Snapdragon 823 SoC, which is being pitched as the best processor from Snapdragon so far.
Asus recently announced the ZenFone 3 along with ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra and their release can be expected in the third quarter. Rumors also say that the devices may come out as early as in August.
The price of the standard Asus ZenFone 3 is expected to be $499. As far as the other specs are concerned, Asus ZenFone 3 will feature a full metallic body along with an invisible antenna design. This design will be the first of its kind ever.
It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based Asus' ZenUI 3.0, and will also support a dual SIM configuration. The device is also expected to feature a 5.7-inch display screen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels which will also be an HD and Super AMOLED display. The processor will be coupled with 6 GB of RAM along with an Adreno 530 GPU, according to The Verge.
The device will further include a 23 mega pixel rear camera which will be further armed with optical image stabilization, dual LED flash, and laser autofocus. The front camera will house an 8 mega pixel lens, which will be further armed with 1080p video recording capacity.
The connectivity options will include all the basic and standard features such as the Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, and also LTE connectivity.
The Asus ZenFone 3 will come with the internal storage capacity options of 64 GB/ 128 GB/ 256 GB, along with the expansion option via a micro SD card, which will be up to 128 GB. There will also be a finger print sensor situated at the back of the device, and the device will be armed with a 3000 mAh battery.
