iPhone 5s receives a discount of $301, iPad mini 2 available for $229

The iPad mini 2 and the iPhone 5s have received big discounts.

After the launch of the iPhone SE smartphone, Cupertino-based Apple has ceased selling the iPhone 5s smartphone from its website. However, buyers can grab the 16 GB iPhone 5s for $149 from Walmart ($301 discount).

In addition, the retailer is selling the iPad mini 2 (16 GB Wi-Fi only version) for $229. Walmart is selling the space gray and silver color options. It is also selling the iPad mini 2 (32 GB) for $279.

The iPhone 5s smartphone features a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1,136 x 640 pixels. The device is powered by A7 processor and M7 coprocessor.

The iPhone 5s sports a 1.2-megapixel selfie camera and an 8-megapaixel rear-facing camera. Furthermore, it has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that offers 10 days of standby time and 10 hours of talk time on 3G.

You can get 40 hours of audio playback and 10 hours of video playback.

The iPad mini 2 was released in 2013. The inclusion of a Retina display was one of the big updates for the iPad mini 2.

The tech company said that videos and pictures look amazingly detailed and text is sharp on the Retina display that features more than 3.1 million pixels.

The  iPad mini 2 runs on M7 motion processor and A7 processor. The tablet lacks fingerprint sensor and Touch ID.

Meanwhile, new reports indicate that the upcoming iPhone 7 may have a touch-sensitive button. Rumors are doing the rounds that owners may be able to use the button by tapping it. The forthcoming device is expected to have a Touch ID sensor that is smoother and faster.

Other rumored features of the upcoming iPhone 7 include a Smart Connector port, dual rear camera setup and repositioned front-facing camera.

It is said that the iPhone 7 will have 3GB RAM, run iOS 10 operating system and will be powered by an A10 processor.

Various reports suggest that the software company will release the iPhone 7 in the third quarter of 2016. It is expected that the iPhone 7 will be revealed in September this year.
