There have been sparks and shrugs on this year Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), and Nintendo apparently missed a spotlight during the hyped of streamlined video game companies, as Microsoft and Sony hinted specs and revolutionary innovations on Project Scorpio and PS4 during the 3-day showcase of interactive games for computers, consoles, and handhelds at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Through multiple rumors that revolved around Nintendo's recently announce NX gaming platform, with it being launched on March 2017, fans have speculated that the new console may be seen in the flesh during the expo.
However, Nintendo did not revealed any details on the new console (even its physical innovation), although eading console companies such as Microsoft and Sony have delivered their anticipated hardware revision. Following one of his first major public interview to Time's Matt Peckham in 2015, Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima however expressed his impression with the new console.
"As far as NX goes, I've said it's different and obviously a new experience," Kimishima said. "It's something where we have to move away from those platforms in order to make it something that will appeal to our consumer base."
More so, according to NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo edges on delivering streamline content into its consumers than taking this next console - Nintendo NX - into the jungle of hardware gods.
Meanwhile, during E3 2016, Ubisoft teases fans on the few upcoming video games to be featured on the Nintendo NX console by the coming years. "Just Dance 2017" is just recently announced by the company, with gamers expecting grooves and shakes from popular hit music of Justin Bieber, Queen, Sia and others.
In addition, the icon of Nintendo's booth is the biggest attraction of the upcoming "Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wind," which is launching on both the Wii U and NX some time in 2017. The general public became lucky players as the Nintendo's massive booth was graced by life-sized sculptures from the popular game.
According to The Verge, many of the devoted fans are also treated with a sneak peak gameplay on one of Nintendo's most iconic franchises, as they visit the new vast open-world that present survival features such as elements of hunting and crafting weapons, which cater to old and new players willing to experience a touch of realism.
Although Nintendo NX failed to immerse itself at E3 2016, there is a possibility that the console will be introduced at EGX 2016 - the United Kingdom's biggest gaming event.
