"Tekken 7" PS4 version by Bandai Namco revealed a Heihachi Akuma in a footage shown at E3 2016. The company unveiled the game in its live presentation at the conference, showing a character from "Street Fighter." Story elements as well as details of the new mechanics were teased during the presentation.
The "Tekken 7" gameplay is the final chapter of the story and as the journey continues with the Heihachi and family, a new character was included. Akuma, Capcom's rager with a red hair, is a "Street Fighter" and "Tekken" crossover. The character blended well in the story making it look like it has been there for a long time. The character Mishima Saga will also be seen. The fighter has been present in the franchise for 20 years, Digital Spy reported.
"Tekken 7" PS4 has a new story mode that has numerous additions. Unreal engine 4-powered scenes blended seamlessly with the gameplay's high quality execution. Better graphics and weather effects with slow motion animation were seen every single time players strike their opponent and during end of attacks. There will be 30 playable characters including Claudio, Jose, Lucky Chloe and Jose, Engadget reported. Akuma's signature moves from "Street Fighter" brought forth the only power up moves with an EX meter to "Tekken 7."
However, the "Tekken 7" had two major drawbacks, which are:
- Fighting scenes are not dynamic as users will be playing the classic 2.5D angles.
- Only a few characters from the game have the ability to be called "Rage Arts," a finishing move that is triggered when the health bar is at 25 percent or lower. When the character begins to glow in red, players have to mash two buttons so they can bring a critical damage to the opponent. These moves are usually artistic, and sometimes comedic with violence.
Two "Tekken" and "Street Fighter" crossovers were announced in 2010. "Street Fighter x Tekken" was released in 2012, but the other game was not developed. Franchise of the two huge fighting game only slowed up recently.
"Tekken 7" PS4 with "Street Fighter" crossover refines gaming's core mechanics, which introducing new fighting kinetics. The game is scheduled to be released in 2017.
