Jared Padalecki has recently shared interesting information that provided a glimpse into his character Sam's future in the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 12.
Avid fans of The CW series were taken by surprise when the final scenes of the Season 11 finale that aired on May 25, Wednesday, featured Padalecki's Sam facing the end of a gun barrel. Toni (Elizabeth Blackmore), a female member of London's Men of Letters, had trained a gun on Sam and fired off a shot to kill him. However, it was unclear whether Sam managed to avoid the bullet since the said scene was focused on Blackmore's character.
In an interview with TVLine, Padalecki confirmed that his character did get shot by Toni. The interview happened during the Saturn Awards held on June 22, Wednesday. Both Padalecki and co-star Jensen Ackles attended the event.
He also added that he has no idea where the bullet has hit Sam's body. Padalecki even joked that his character always gets injured in The CW show. He also mentioned that that one thing he should be thankful for is that is his character was not tortured. Although, the actor hinted that he was still unsure if Sam will remain torture free in the upcoming "Supernatural" Season 12.
Another interesting scene that loyal viewers saw in the Season 11 finale episode titled "Alpha and Omega" was the resurrection of Ackles' character Dean's mother. The actor shared during the same interview that both he and Padalecki were looking forward to how it will affect the beloved characters of the show. Padalecki even revealed his excitement with the said scene. He even teased fans may see more of Dean's mother, Mary, when "Supernatural" returns to the small screens.
