One new iPhone 7 leak now shows that the smartphone from Apple could have a camera larger than the previous setups as a rear case shows a bigger hole for the rear.

There have been several rumors regarding the new iPhone 7 and they are starting to pile up. The most recent ones were the 256GB internal storage and the non-removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack despite the earlier reports.

Chinese repair shop Rock Fix is has now launched a leak photo of the alleged iPhone 7's rear case which shows a larger circular hole for its camera, Engadget has learned. It could also be spotted that there are fewer plastic antenna bands which suggests that the earlier rumors of the components being redesigned are indeed true.

The case also shows that the 3.5mm headphone jack is present as it has a hole in the case. There were several reports in the past few weeks claiming that Apple decided to remove the jack for aesthetic purposes to make the new iPhone as thin as possible.

Rock Fix also suggests that Apple could be making three variants of the iPhone 7 with only one model retaining the 3.5mm audio jack, PC Magazine reported. It will be one of the two 4.7-inch screen models while the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus variant will have a lightning port instead of the headphone jack.

None of the speculations and leaks have been confirmed by Apple and they are expected to continue being quiet about the information until its final reveal later this year. So far, the iPhone 7 is expected to have a dual-camera setup, a maximum of 256GB internal storage and a minimum of 32GB.

Another rumor is that the larger camera could contain a better CMOS sensor which is expected to boost its light sensitivity. The higher level of intensity could translate into brighter photos even in low-light situations.

Loyal Apple fans will have to wait for the Cupertino-based tech giant's official announcement later this year regarding the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. There are still a few more weeks and more rumors are also expected to surface as well.
