At the onset of Johnny Depp's divorce with estranged wife Amber Heard, past lover Winona Ryder revealed in an interview that the "Alice Through the Looking Glass" star was never abusive towards her at the course of their relationship. She also said she only knew Depp as a "good, loving and caring guy" to anyone he loves.

For the past months, Depp had been surrounded with divorce and separation news with his wife. These are due to the accusations of the latter that she had been physically abused by the "Lone Ranger" actor on many instances. Heard was able to provide evidence of the said accusation through photos of her injuries which were allegedly a product of Depp's physical abuse towards her, Hollywood Reporter reported.

The "Friday Night Lights" actress filed a restraining order in Los Angeles last May. The other party's response with the accusation is another accusation that Heard is only making up stories for monetary gain.

Last Sunday, Depp had his first interview since the divorce rumor exploded. The 53-year old actor did not mention anything regarding his highly publicized break up, but talked of other things instead. In his interview with Jonesy's Jukebox radio talk, Depp revealed he was able to get into acting when he was trying to pursue music as a teenager, People reported.

The report added that the "Pirates of Carribbean" star accidentally got into acting. He revealed he only needed money at the time, and someone referred him to an agent. He went for an audition and was able to secure the role.

The actor also revealed that he only considered acting full-time after his band broke up. He said that acting "seemed like a good way to pay the rent for a minute." Depp was able to further his acting career when he starred as "Edward Scissorhands" alongside Ryder.

Since then, the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" actor has taken several acting stints which made him one of the most respected actors in Hollywood today. Depp and Heard were married for 15 months.

"Alice through the Looking Glass" recently aired in theaters last May 27, 2016. Watch a preview of the movie trailer below.
