An "Uncharted 4" character uses the booster called Gunslinger to fire a quicker shot against an enemy.

"Uncharted 4" has acquired its first major post-launch update recently. Naughty Dog has also announced that they will be replacing the Triple Pack with the new Explorer Pack.

Lead game designer Robert Cogburn revealed on the official blog of PlayStation that this first major post-launch update will be called patch 1.08. This update will have the first MP DLC drop, a level system, and a new Rank System that has its own exclusive rewards. This big update will have a file size of over 1.3 GB.

According to Dual Shockers, the new Explorer Pack, which replaced the previous Triple Pack Expansion, will provide players with a better choice of the different items they want to get. The developers will continue to choose the content included in the Triple Pack for those who have already purchased the expansion, or those who want to purchase the game's Digital Deluxe version. Players who will purchase the game's season pass will have to get the new pack, which includes the upcoming single-player DLC, and Uncharted Points worth 3,200.

The new update will contain the Lost Treasures, which is the game studios' first post-launch content drop, said Cogburn. This content will include the video game's first free map release, new gameplay items, and new character skins for customizations.

Cogburn also confirmed that all of the DLC maps of the game will be free in the multiplayer section, as they have promised in the past. The first free map that players will enjoy is the Sunken Ruins map. Players will recognize some areas of the map, since they are similar from the areas in single-player campaign.

Players can now buy DLC Gameplay Chest with Relics to get better gear, revealed the lead game designer. The chest will grant them a lot of new gameplay DLC items like the new Enforcer G26, or boosters like the Enhanced Radar. They will not get any duplicates from any of the items that they have unlocked through the DLC Gameplay Chests.

The new skins and pre-sets will be over 50 and the accessories like the hat and face wear items will be over 70. They can try out the Pirate and Military theme skins to change some characters like playing as the Pirate Sullivan. There will be new weapon skins to choose from if players want to customize further their weapons, and there will new Taunts to try out.

The fans will be overjoyed once they download this new patch, due to the new Level System that came with it. It will feature 70 levels, with each level awarding the players with different items that can help them along the way. Every five levels will earn them an exclusive vanity item that cannot be acquired through any other way, and Cogburn teases that it will be unique and mystical-looking.

The Ranked Team Deathmatch Mode of the multiplayer section of the game has also been revamped with this new patch, according to Cogburn. This will now happen over the course of Seasons, which will last 60 days, and it will end on Aug. 20. After it ends, the developers will take a short break before the next new Season will start to make and implement some changes and updates.
