“Once Upon a Time” Season 6 will air on ABC this fall.

Jekyll and Hyde's arrival in Storybrooke poses a terrible threat to the town, as teased in the final two episodes of "Once Upon a Time" Season 5. It appears that the duo may wreak havoc, along with some of their "friends."

The question now, however, is whether the main heroes will have a much-needed time off after everything that ensued in the fifth season. According to TV Line, "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will pick up "just moments after Hyde arrived in Storybrooke and ominously greeted Regina." From there, the characters from the Untold Stories and their motives will be explored.

A new season of "Once Upon a Time" is not complete without new characters, and with the introduction of the Untold Stories arc, it is possible that there could be more baddies than expected. What's confirmed, however, is that ABC has begun casting from Sinbad and Scheherezade.

Jekyll and Hyde will not be the only evil lurking in Storybrooke. There's still Regina and the Evil Queen to contend with. In "Once Upon a Time" Season 5 finale, Regina used Jekyll's serum to separate herself from the Evil Queen by ripping out the latter's heart. However, the Evil Queen resurfaced in New York and declared war.

It appears that despite Regina showing empathy and love all this time, she was not able to eliminate the wickedness that she has been burying deep inside her. Now that she's out, the Evil Queen proves herself to still be a formidable threat. Will Regina and the Evil Queen fight each other in "Once Upon a Time" Season 6?

"The two roles are obviously going to be very separate in the sense that we saw a snippet of an Evil Queen who looked at what Regina has become and is very disappointed," executive producer Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly. "If she's unleashed, she would show Regina what ripping away everyone's happy ending truly looks like."

Meanwhile, "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will not be split into two half-seasons, instead, it will be one season-long arc. "It's not like this Evil Queen arc will be all done by December," Horowitz revealed. "It might be done by week 2, or by week 22."

"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 will air on ABC this fall.
