Jessica, whose real name is Jessica Sooyoun Jung, may team up with actor Ki Hong Lee, 29, for her next project. Latest reports claimed that Jessica and Ki will show up in the third installment of the "Two Bellmen" franchise, a short film series produced by JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
The good news came to light when the former Girls Generation member was seen filming a movie with "The Maze Runner" actor. In the film, the two will portray a newlywed couple who get sucked into the worldwide bellmen game. A series of photographs were then widely circulated on Twitter.
Jessica and Ki will join renowned skateboarder William Spencer and actor Caine Sinclair, reprising their roles as heroic bellmen Gage and Christian, respectively, Soompi reported. In the third installment, the action shifts to Seoul, South Korea, and the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square.
Unlike the two previous films in the franchise, which were set in Los Angeles and Dubai, the upcoming third installment takes place in and around one of JW Marriott's properties. It also aims to prominently highlights the Korean culture and magnificence of Seoul.
Reports claimed that additional actors for the film are seemingly drawn from the K-Pop world and Korea's acting, singing and online communities. Director Daniel Malakai Cabrera is back on board to helm the project, along with Marriott International's Vice-President for Global Creative and Content Marketing, David Beebe, producing the short film.
Beebee noted that the first two installments have produced more than 12 million views since the franchise propelled in March 2015. He added that Marriott International is one of the first brands to do a short-form branded film series.
"JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul and the city itself will take center stage in the third installment," said Marriott International Vice-President for Luxury Brand Management and Guest Experience, Mitzi Gaskins, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. "As, we're excited to begin production on our third 'Two Bellmen'."
