"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 is pushing through despite several talks that it may be the end for the CBS series. Interviews with the showrunners have revealed major fallouts as the tension grows among the characters and that the series may still be adding new cast in the upcoming season.
Although Season 9 did not have a fiery ending as the previous seasons, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 for sure will bring new twists and revelations as the relationships among the characters begin to unfold. Executive Steve Molaro even hinted at several fallouts to watch out for in the new season.
"We're left with a good amount of tension between all the parents," executive producer Steve Molaro told Entertainment Weekly. "There's a lot of fallout the following morning before we even get to the ceremony, if we even do."
"The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will start with Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) planning their life together again. In Season 9, the two eloped to have their Vegas wedding where their family is just going to witness it through the webcast.
Viewers also have to watch out for the tension between Sheldon's mother, Mary Cooper, and Leonard's father, Alfred Hofstaedter. If their relationship develops, there is a possibility that Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and Leonard may finally consider each other as step brothers in the future.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2015, Molaro hinted that there are still a lot of characters that are waiting to be seen. Season 9 has already brought Sheldon's Meemaw in the scene, and it looks like Leonard's dad and Howard's dad role will have greater part in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. There is a rumor that Penny's mom will be appearing the next season.
For fans expecting to see the baby of Bernadette Rostenkowski (Melissa Rauch) and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), there is no baby bump yet happening in Season 10. The future godfather Raj Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) will remain as supportive as ever with the couple in the new season.
