Steven Moffat has also revealed that both Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman received their roles in "Sherlock" Season 4 to bring satisfy to their fans and not because of the fat pay check offered to them. The executive producer has also stated the two lead stars of "Sherlock" Season 4 really love their roles.

Some sources claim that Benedict Cumberbatch will not be filming another instalment after "Sherlock" Season 4 as he is reportedly going to be busy working on the "Doctor's Strange" movie. On the other hand, Martin Freeman is expected to shoot for the "Black Panther" movie.

Reportedly "Sherlock" Season 4 could head to a hiatus leading to any death between Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman's characters. Although it is definitely dependable on the stars' availability to do and film for the series again.

"Sherlock" Season 4 is set to air in 2017.
