New "Overwatch" healing sniper Ana fires a shot at an enemy in a battle.

The newest "Overwatch" hero Ana is causing some problems for both on the PlayStation 4 and the PC platforms. The new update has also brought some big balance changes to the popular shooter video game.

The new healing sniper hero was finally available for the PC players, but there were a couple of problems that appeared for the two platforms. On the PS4, a lot of players have seen many issues of the new character like experience levels, rankings, cosmetic skins, and even in-game currency, which were bought with real money, have suddenly disappeared. A Blizzard representative told IGN in a statement that the root cause for the problem has been fixed, and they asked for the players who were affected to give their PSN usernames.

The healing sniper has also caused problems for the PC platform. The patch that implemented the character on the beta servers was also implemented live, during the ESL Atlantic Showdown tournament. This has caused some competing teams to play differently during the matches, and has inconvenienced other players who do not know her abilities too well.

Some players are now worried to know whether a new fix will at least restore their progress, or whether it will overwrite any progress that they have done since the issue appeared. There are even others who are trying to get compensation from the game company for their money and time they have lost.

The new character addition to the video game is the mother of the hero Pharah. She is armed with a Biotic Rifle, which heals her allies and damages her opponents from a long distance. She is also equipped with a Biotic Grenade, which also heals her allies and damages her opponents in a small area radius.

According to Gamespot, the newest update did not just add the new character to the video game's roster. It has also tweaked numerous characters like D.Va is getting a new way to use her shield, and an improvement in her Ultimate skill. Other characters like Mercy, McCree, and several others have gotten some adjustments as well to balance the gameplay.
