Donnie Yen could be one of the casualties for "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" set to hit theaters this December.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is a highly anticipated film that is expected to hit the big screen this December. To date, there is no clue on what the producers have in store with most plots coming from the rumor mill.

The best chance to get some juicy details would be through some of the key actors cast for the upcoming film. One of them happens to be Jian Wen who portrays “Baze Malbus”.

Wen was one of the characters on hand for Star Wars Celebration and answered some queries. He was part of the “Rogue One” panel which was hosted by Gwendoline Christie. The Chinese actor was asked by Christie to talk about his character though his revelation may have touched on something inadvertently, according to Movie Pilot.

It should be noted that Wen’s English is not exactly perfect. So there could be a misinterpretation of sorts but the part where he mentions that ‘this guy dead’ seems to point at his partner in the film, “Chirrut Imwe” portrayed by Donnie Yen.

Erratic as the interview went, the audience tried to understand the flow of the conversation. But by saying ‘dead’, it seems obvious that someone will be killed off on “Rogue One”.

Right now, Wen’s reference is a bit vague and could be a misinterpretation. Regardless, even Christie seemed shock and cut him off before he started revealing anything else. When that happened, Wen may have realized he said too much and try to make up for it by ending the conversation with “Anyway, I have a gun”.

For those who are unaware of “Chirrut Imwe”, he plays a blind warrior who lives in Jeddah. He is a strong believed in the Force and is considered the closest thing to a “Jedi”, CNN reported.

Going back to Wen’s interview, he did say that he wasn’t that much of a believer in the Force and that he was simply pretending for a big mission. Could it be possible that “Baze” wakes up to realize the Force once “Chirrut” gets killed? That could be a possibility and a turning point for the upcoming film.

While that revelation remains to be seen, check out the video of the "Rogue One" panel at the "Star Wars" Celebration held in London.
