Pokemon Go: Tips to catch 142 Pokemon; Fix for battery saver freezing glitch

Here are some tips to find the precise location of every Pokemon, PokeStop and Gym around you.

If new reports are anything to go by, developer Ahmed Almutawa has figured out how to generate a map that shows exactly which Pokemon are in a player's area and their precise location.

The game has a nearby feature that is supposed to give players a feel for which Pokemon are near and which direction they may be. But that Nearby tracking has been broken for more than a week now.

The Pokemon Go-Map project can chart the actual-time locations of all nearby creatures on a map, The Verge reported. Each location has an icon of the Pokémon and clicking on it tells you how long till it vanishes from that location.

However, it is important to note that at present the Pokémon map is not very easy to use. It needs setting up Python on a player's PC and running it via command lines. Reports indicate that Niantic will consider this an improper use of its servers, therefore, players should not use their actual Pokemon Go account for the mapping tool.

It is suggested that players should create a new account for this. The map is hosted on Git Hub.Currently, the developers are making the map more user friendly.

Ahmed Almutawa is creating an interface for instaling and using the tool so that players do not have to mess with the command line. At present, Niantic is coping with  bugs and server problems in Pokemon Go.

Meanwhile, gamers can get Pikachu as starters. If players constantly ignore and run away from Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur, Pikachu will ultimately appear, ripe for the capturing. After players have captured their starter, they can click the window in the lower right hand corner to view nearby creature.

The footprints under each Pokemon is in fact their distance from players. One foot print means Pokemon are very close and three footprints means that they are up for an adventure.

If players open the bottom-right window, they can concentrate on tracking a particular Pokemon by clicking it from the menu. After that, the box will pulsate green if they are moving in the correct direction.
