Pokemon GO cheats, hacks, tips and tricks continue to flood the internet with strategies to ace the game. Weeks after the release of the GPS based augmented reality game, players are busy leveling up and evolving their Pokemon as they prepare to hit the gym for a battle.

Here are a few Pokemon Go tips and tricks to evolve Pokemon faster and make them beasts stronger.

According to VG 247 and Android Origin, the two key elements in the evolution of Pokemon are Stardust and Candies. It is important for the players to use them judiciously and effectively in Pokemon GO.

The website suggests that it is wise to keep saving Stardust until later stages. However, there are many ways to earn and collect Stardust. Players receive Stardust on catching a Pokemon and on hatching an egg. The main source of earning Stardust in bigger amounts is by visiting a gym.

Stardust is used in powering up the Pokemon. Wasting Stardust on low-level evolutions is not recommended. The website suggests to save it for the evolution of Pokemon with higher CP. The amount of Stardust needed depends on the strength of Pokemon. Power-ups at later stage need a large amount of Stardust and it is available in limited quantity.

Candy is another source of power-up and evolving a Pokemon. However, they are specific to their species. A Squirtle candy cannot be used to evolve Pidgey. Candies can be earned by catching a Pokemon and hatching an egg. More candies can be obtained by transferring the Pokemon back to Professor Willow. Thus, giving away frequently appearing Pokemon can let you earn candies that can later be used for power-up or evolution. As power-up is cheaper, while an evolution of a Pokemon needs at least 10 specific candies.

In addition, the website advises that with Lucky Egg in effect, one can gain double the XP. This means for each evolution if you get 500XP, with an active Lucky Egg one can obtain 1000XP.

Also, it is suggested that evolving a Pokemon in early stages may not be as rewarding as in the later stages. So, it is better to wait until you have a more powerful trainer.
