"Mr. Robot" Season 2 has gotten off to a great start with all the three episodes keeping viewers engaged with the struggles of Elliot. But now it looks like some big surprise is in store that may change the course of the entire season.
According to Carter Matt, Elliot Anderson (Rami Malek), in keeping with his efforts to block out Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), has now got a brand new plan to douse his inside demons. He is looking to befriend Ray (Craig Robinson) in the hope that it would help him delete Mr. Robot from his mind, once and for all.
And this sounds quite true as the trailer of the fourth episode shows Ray telling Elliot that he should put an end to the war, raging inside him, by making peace with the enemy. Mr. Robot also seems to be accepting the idea as he is seen saying that he does not want the two halves to be in a perpetual war. But there is a catch.
Collider reports that Mr. Robot has a dangerous game plan for the truce. He tells Elliot that one game can decide who shall wield eventual control. An intimidated Elliot is then seen asking him about the prospect of him losing the game and Robot replies that he gets to be in charge, forever.
In the meantime, FBI Agent, Dom lands up with an important clue that will lead her to Coney Island arcade and consequently, to its broken fsociety sign. As for fsociety, it will play a major role in the coming episodes. Darlene, the leader of the society, will be seen weighing the twin threats from the FBI and the Dark Army and wondering which of the two is bigger.
So, it is evident that the fourth episode is going to prove monumental for the psychological thriller drama series. It will set the tone for rest of the season and fans would definitely find it interesting to watch the intriguing fight between Elliot and Mr. Robot.
