It was just in December 2015 when the Japanese anime series "One Punch Man" ended its very successful first installment, which is is why fans of the show are excited to know what the second season has in store for them.
It is said that there is a possibility that "One Punch Man" Season 2 may air after the rerun of the first season on Adult Swim, Game N Guide has learned. It can be recalled that the anime series was acquired by the network for an English dubbed version, and with that said, rumors are loud that the second installment may also air on the same network right after the first season rerun ends this fall.
The same publication also cited the speculations that "One Punch Man" Season 2 could air sooner than expected. The rumor sparked when the creator of the show, Yusuke Murata, somewhat hinted that the second season may air later this year. Murata even said that he is working very hard just to deliver "One Punch Man" Season 2 in the shortest possible time.
On the other note, various sources seem to have clues on what the second season will be about, Australia Network News reported. It is said that three possible villains will appear in the second outing of the anime series, namely Lord Boros, Amai Mask and Garou.
It was said that Mask might only be hiding his real intentions, and that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will finally expose who he really is. The same publication also cited that Season 2 may just only have 12 episodes; however, they did not reveal the content of these episodes.
