It was way back in December 2015 when the hit anime series, "One Punch Man," ended its first season with a bang. While fans are anticipating for the second installment, reports are claiming that "One Punch Man" Season 2 is now ready to be released on October this year.
Fans of the anime series are already worried with the rumors that "One Punch Man" Season 2 is going to be delayed until 2017. Some rumors did also say that the second season may have been already cancelled. Fortunately, according to Christian Today, the release of the sequel may happen in the later part of the year.
According to the same publication, the reason behind the delay of "One Punch Man" Season 2 was due to Yusuke Murata's tight schedule. Murata is the illustrator of the manga version of the anime series. The same publication cited that Murata have already been working on the sequel right after the end of the first season. If this rumor is true, there may be a chance for "One Punch Man" Season 2 to appear this October.
On the other hand, the speculations that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be happening this year got stronger after the confirmation that a "One Punch Matsuri" event is among the list of events included in the Anime Expo 2016 at Los Angeles this coming July 1 to 4, cites Anime Expo.
The listing also confirmed that the voice actor of the anime's lead protagonist Saitama, Makoto Furukawa, will be one of the guests of the said "One Punch Man" event. Along with Furukawa and Murata, the director of the series, Shingo Natsume, is also going. The event is scheduled on July 2, and will run from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
With the important men behind the hit Japanese anime attending "One Punch Matsuri," fans are speculating that details of the sequel may spilled-out during the event.
As of the moment, fans would just need to wait until "One Punch Man" Season 2 premiere will be officially announced.
