EXO perform during the opening ceremony for the Opening Ceremony ahead of the 2014 Asian Games at Incheon Asiad Stadium on September 19, 2014 in Incheon, South Korea.

The Kpop idol groups EXO and Twice were identified as the groups with the best name in the South Korean entertainment industry, according to a branding expert.

Branding expert Park Jae Hyun has recently shared his thoughts on the Kpop idol groups that have the best and worst names. He made the revelation when he guest starred in an episode of the MBC show "My Little Television" that aired on Saturday, July 30, Soompi reported.

He chose EXO and Twice as the Kpop idol performers with the best brand names. Jae Hyun explained that the said two group's names were very unique, particularly that of the girl group Twice. It appears that not a lot of people know of the word "Twice" in South Korea and it is a perfect way to capture the fans attention, the branding expert added.

When asked about EXO, he stated that the group's name has a strong branding appeal given its pronunciation. Jae Hyun shared that the easy way that the word "EXO" can be pronounced has made it one of the best Kpop idol group names in the South Korean entertainment industry.

On the other hand, the branding expert identified Kpop group names such as I.O.I., A.O.A., and C.I.V.A. as ineffective brand names. The naming expert stated that the said group names lack potential fan association given the meaning behind the acronyms. He also highlighted the group name C.I.V.A. and noted his personal preference on performers avoiding such acronyms given his background in education, as indicated in the same report. In some educational fields, the term C.I.V.A refers to character, integrity, values and arts.

Meanwhile, Jae Hyun applauded the group BTS for using an uncommon name. He commented on the double meaning of group's name "bangtan" (bulletproof) and how the said word is not heard often in South Korean conversations.

In other news, EXO has recently completed the group's concert series titled "The EXO'rDIUM." The all-male group held a series of performances in Seoul's Olympic Gymnastics Stadium on July 22 until July 24 and July 29 until July 31, allkpop reported. The group has also been acknowledged as the first artist who performed six concert shows at the said venue.

Each of the six concert shows lasted for 3 hours. During the three-hour show, the EXO group members wowed fans with powerful song numbers and performances. A total of around 84,000 concertgoers were said to have witnessed EXO's latest shows, as stated in the same report.
