The latest details for "Injustice 2" will feature a possible PC version and mobile app game, as well as several potential rumored DC characters for the sequel.
It seems that a PC version for "Injustice 2" could happen anytime soon as "Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon stated during a panel at San Diego Comic Con 2016 event that there is "likely" a chance that the sequel will land on the PC platform, but there is no telling as to when will it will be released, either alongside the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles or on a later date, WCCFTech reported.
Aside from a possible PC version, Boon also teased a new mobile app version of "Injustice 2" as he tweeted a poll that asked fans if the want an updated version of the first "Injustice" game or a seperate new mobile app, with the majority wanting a new app by 71 percent.
In other news, its seems that a new batch of DC characters are being pitched to be part of "Injustice 2" roster. NetherRealm Studios showcased two new DC characters Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle to the roster joining the likes of Superman, Batman, The Flash, Supergirl, Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus.
The new rumored line up will consist of Beast Boy, Starfire, Swamp Thing, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, Rorschach, Red Hood, John Constantine, Jonah Hex and Darkseid, Gamerant reported.
Boon teased Swamp Thing in a previos character poll along with Blue Beetle and Captain Cold, while Darkseid has been a playable character in the mobile version of "Injustice: Gods Among Us".
Other characters that speculated to join "Injustice 2" include Black Canary, Zoom, Vixen, Captain Cold, Doctor Fate, Green Lantern and many more.
"Injustice 2" will feature several DC characters fighting each other using their abilities and powers. Player's can earn several armor loots after each battle whether they win or lose. Each armor set can enhance their abilities or unlock new ones.
The plot of "Injustice 2" will take place after the first game as Batman tries to rebuild the world after Superman's One Earth Regime,while at the same time stopping the Man of Steel's loyalist in breaking him out of his Red Sun prison, unaware that an even greater threat is coming to earth.
NetherRealm Studios has not yet announced an official release date for "Injustice 2" for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it is speculated to launch on March 2017.
