Jeremy Lin

Asian-American NBA player of Brooklyn Nets, Jeremy Lin has had an illustrative career so far. And it is not only his activities on the court that he is known for but also for some entertaining work that he has done off the court. The Nets' point guard once pranked visitors of Madame Tussaud by posing as his own wax figure, and he has also starred in many humorous videos where he satirized other athletes' ad campaigns, dunked over family members and learned from Riley Curry the Whip/Nae Nae.

Lin's recent exploit is a "Space Jam 3" video -- he and some of his friends collaborated to make their own version of the 1996 movie "Space Jam", which starred Michael Jordan along with Bugs Bunny and other Warner Bros.cartoon characters. Instead of a bunch of "Looney Tunes," Lin in the video finds himself surrounded by iconic anime characters like Naruto which is played by Ryan Higa, Goku from "Dragon Ball," Sailor Moon and Yugi from "Yu-Gi-Oh!".

LeBron James is likely to star in upcoming "Space Jam" sequel, Washington Post reported.

In this newly released video on Higa's YouTube channel, Lin after announcing retirement from basketball is seen occupied watching anime and at the same time playing video games. He gets pulled into the world of his screen where he gets acquainted with characters who are gearing up for a basketball match. These cartoon characters have a basketball team called the "Toon Squad". Lin is seen training and helping this team. And later they succeed in defeating their rival basketball team.

The video also makes fun of Lin's lack of NBA fame as compared to Michael Jordan and also jokes about his identity as an Asian-American basketball player.

Apparently, the film represents a pitch to the acclaimed director of "Fast and Furious 6,″ Justin Lin. Lin is developing a script for "Space Jam 2,"The Hollywood Reporter reported. To some "Space Jam 3″ might come across as a bit odd, if so, then they only have to look for Lin's  2014 mini-musical which is titled, "Jeremy Lin Goes Hollywood."
