‘Arrow' season 5 spoilers: The CW series copies HBO's 'Game of Thrones?

Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin play the title roles in the TV series "Arrow" and "The Flash," respectively.

"Arrow" season 5 will have plenty of fight scenes, but it could just be copied from another TV series.

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Wendy Mericle said that said that they were so inspired by how HBO's "Game of Thrones" portrayed their fight scenes and would want to unveil similar storylines in the upcoming episodes.

"I can say it looks amazing. We're now part of this TV universe where you have 'Game of Thrones' and the way that they deal with violence and how they do their fights, so it's our attempt to do something similar. It's bloody. You're in it. We're doing a lot more first person - not necessarily point of view - action. Stephen has been a huge proponent of doing that, and it's going to feel real in your face," she said.

Meanwhile, Mericle also talked about Emily Bett Rickards' character Felicity and said that she will continue to struggle with the events that took place in Havenrock. "She's in a very similar place to Dig. She's really grappling with what happened in Havenrock, consumed with that guilt. She's broken up with Oliver. She lost her company. And the one thing she has in this life in the bunker. So she's doubled down on doing that. Until she gets past what happened in Havenrock, she's going to stay in that state of limbo," she said.

In other news, the filming for "Arrow" season 5 is currently ongoing in Vancouver, British Columbia. Photos from the set were recently shared via the show's official Twitter account. One of the snaps featured the crew preparing the set for one of Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) fight scenes.

"Arrow" season 5 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
