Electronic Arts (EA) has been silent about its plans for an upcoming "The Sims 4" expansion pack. However, a product listing posted at a video game rating site may have unveiled the theme for the game's new downloadable content.

Avid fans of EA's life simulation game "The Sims 4" have been eagerly awaiting for news about the game's upcoming DLC packs. The players' anticipation for a potential announcement during the Gamescom event that will be held from Aug. 17 until Aug. 21 has also been high. Although the game developer has previously indicated that it will not feature any new "The Sims 4" content in the said convention.

However, a Brazilian video game rating site has posted a product listing that teased of a city-theme expansion pack, iDigital Times reported. The said expansion pack titled "Vida Na Cidade" is said to pertain to the city. When translated, the title of the rumored third expansion pack would refer to "City Life," "Life in the City" or "Living in the City."

Unfortunately, other details for the leaked expansion pack were not disclosed. It also did not indicate whether the new DLC pack would be available in 2016.

Avid fans would know that the last time that EA released an expansion pack for "The Sims 4" was in 2015. The gaming company gave players a new world, as well as abilities and group interactions in the "Get Together" expansion pack. EA has also released several DLC packs in 2016 such the "Romantic Garden stuff pack," Kids Room stuff pack," "Backyard stuff pack" and the "Dine Out" game pack.

On the other hand, the rumored city themed expansion pack has been speculated to be a part of the game developer's upcoming DLC releases for the game. Some "The Sims 4" gamer may recall a previous EA survey that hinted of a metropolitan location dubbed "Metropolis," as indicated in the same report.

In other news, a hidden code in the game's latest patch also teased of an upcoming new event system, according to a report posted on the Sims Community. The said event may even feature the return of Jasmine Holiday, a non-playable character who was temporarily added to the game during its Growfruit Challenge. It appears that the new event will provide players the chance to earn more experience points, as well as level up abilities and relationships faster in the game.

At this time, it is still unclear if the information teased in these game leaks are true. EA has yet to comment on the news.
