A lot of rumors have been circulating all over the tech community regarding Samsung's upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S6. Many tech analysts were pretty sure that the new smartphone will be unveiled in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress.

Additional rumors say that the Galaxy S6 will be announced alongside the Galaxy S Edge which is a curved screen variant of the smartphone. However, the Galaxy S Edge will not be mass produced just like the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Many experts is still unsure about the exact date as to when Samsung will unveil its newest product but based on the company's last two release of its flagship phone there is a great possibility that the Galaxy S6 will be announced sometime in April. The Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 were both launched in April 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Based on the series of leaks about the Galaxy S6, the phone will have a Super AMOLED display screen which has been the default choice of its predecessors. A considerable number of tech analysts predict that the Galaxy S6 will have a QHD 1440x2560 display resolution. As for the display size, predictions set it between 5.2 or 5.3 inches, according to Tech Radar.

For the smartphone's processor, it is already public knowledge that Samsung dropped Qualcomm chips in order to make way for its own Exynos chips. Qualcomm has been Samsung's default chip choice ever since and the decision to use the 64-bit eight-core Exynos 7420 chipset comes in quite a surprise. Additional reports also said that Samsung is mass producing 4gigabyte RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S6's default operating system has been highly debated over the past months. Many analysts predict that the Galaxy S6 will run on the latest Android Lollipop operating system. However, some are also saying that Samsung might drop the Android platform since it has been developing its very own operating system named Tizen.

Samsung has yet to confirm which network will carry the Galaxy S6 in the United States. However, T-Mobile CEO John Legere recently posted on his Twitter account, "Was there even a question? Of course @TMobile will carry the Next Bight Thing!"
