'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' rumors: 'Dragon Ball Super' episodes added soon; Majin Vegeta joins the roster, new multiplayer gameplay details revealed [VIDEO]

Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC platforms.

The latest "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" details will feature a new character, multiplayer features and "Dragon Ball Super" episodes coming soon.

Bandai Namco streamed a new trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" that showcases many multiplayer features for gamers playing online as the Japanese video game publisher announced an open beta soon. The details for the open beta have not been revealed, but for now gamers will have to enjoy the amount quest and online action in the sequel.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" introduces a new game mode called "Expert Mission" were in gamers will team-up to do a mission online. There will be six players in the game mode as they fight a gigantic NPC player such a great ape Vegeta or Bardock. In addition, the single-player features twice the number of quests than Xenoverse 1, parallel quests from the original game, and a new system for rare item drops, which contain costumes and accessories for their characters.

The trailer also featured some of the new transformations in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" such as Super Saiyan 3 for the Saiyans, Flying Nimbus cloud for the Humans, Great Namek form for the Namekians, Golden Form for the Frieza race and a Kid Buu form for the Majin race.

Lastly, there is also a new character joining the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" roster in the form of Majin Vegeta, a corrupted version of Vegeta during the Majin Boo saga, Gamespot reported.

In other news, Game producer Masaki Hirano teased the possibility of adding "Dragon Ball Super" episodes to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" since Hirano explained that the anime series is still ongoing.

Hirano added that he and Bandai Namco are planning to support the game by having free game updates and even paid DLC in the future as gamers will likely look forward to having content from "Dragon Ball Super" soon, Siliconera reported.

Future Trunks and Black Goku have already been confirmed to be part of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as pre-ordered DLC characters.

Hirano and Bandai Namco promised the gaming fans to improve the online content for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" so that gamers from around the world can interact and play with one another, whether doing quest and fighting in tournaments.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will launch on Oct. 25 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
